Help the JRA to have the La Sagesse School and Chapel buildings
Grade II* listed

After almost 100 years, the School has closed and the sites are on the market for sale and potential redevelopment.  Jesmond Towers and its grounds have Grade II* listed status but the school and chapel do not.  Although the school site does have some protection under the Newcastle Unitary Development Policy and the Jesmond Dene Conservation Area designation and the options for redevelopment are limited, the JRA feels that the School and Chapel buildings are worth further protection.

The JRA is making a submission to English Heritage for Grade II* listing for the School and Chapel buildings.

Please support this.  Email us stating that you are in favour of listing, giving your name and address and telephone number. 
The details which you give will not be revealed to other parties, save in the submission to English Heritage.
